If you are a frustrated teacher looking to spice things up in your classroom, look no further than your friendly media center. Let one of us know what topics are coming up in your pacing guide, give us an idea of what you’d like your students to learn about it, and we’ll give you a resource list from our collection, as well as some useful internet sources. We’ll also suggest some activities, teach your students the research process, and help you evaluate their work!
Here are some examples of successful teacher/librarian collaboration:
Animal Research Project (DiLorenzo/Crum)
English Renaissance WebQuest (Hall/DiLorenzo)
If you would like more information on collaborating with one of us, or if you have an idea for a project or assignment, send me an email, call us at extension 133, or fill out the comment box below.
